Many of our customers wonder why our muzzle brakes perform so much better than the competitors’ products.
Over the years, we have realized many muzzle brakes in the market are made with a “One Size Fits All” philosophy in mind. In the last twelve years of developing and testing muzzle brakes for various platforms we have found muzzle brakes must be caliber specific and, in many cases, must also be tailored to a specific rifle or model to accomplish all the set objectives.
For example, many companies offer .30 Caliber muzzle brake for .308 as well as 260/6.5mm. Although this might be a safe practice, it affects the accuracy and increases vertical dispersions. In addition, many muzzle brakes are designed to fit a particular thread pitch without taking into account the barrel diameter of a rifle at the muzzle. This can in turn affect the barrel harmonic and reduce the overall accuracy.
At CORETAC SOLUTIONS we believe muzzle brakes should provide the shooter with more than recoil management. Our goal from the beginning has been to create an effective muzzle brake by paying special attention to all aspects of MB performance such as:
