The Harris Bipod is the most popular bipod in the market today; however it does not directly attach to Picatinny Rails MIL-STD-1913 and does not rotate. RBA-2 adapter (Rotating Bipod Adapter) from MIM MFG offers an extremely rugged and low profile solution to fill these important requirements.
Features of the RBA-2 Adapter include two hex screws to install the adapter to any Picatinny Rail. If you are not going to remove the adapter from your rifle on regular bases, this model creates the most stable and low profile platform. The RBA-2 adapter also comes with a Locking Lever to adjust the rotating tension. Most importantly, the RBA-2 Harris Bipod Adapter makes full surface contact with the Harris bipod interface which provides a stable platform.
MIM MFG RBA-2 Adapters are manufactured from solid billet aircraft aluminum and stainless steel. RBA-2 Adapters are Type III hard anodized in a matte black non-reflective combat finish to meet mil-spec. RBA-2 adapters are in use by special forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
