All of the sharp edges have been cleaned, corners radiused and any potential snagging spots on the rail have been removed giving the entire unit a durable, sleek look.
The Area 419 Remington 700 Short Action Improved Scope Base has an integral machined-in recoil lug which bears against the front receiver ring to prevent any base shifting under recoil.
