The primary advantage of the MDT Precision Picatinny Scope Mounting Rail system for Savage Arms (10/110, 11/111, 12/112, 16/116) is Integral recoil shoulder with elongated screw holes for positive contact with receiver ring. This integrated recoil shoulder absorbs the shearing forces of the mount under recoil.

The MDT Precision Picatinny Scope Mounting Rails are manufactured from solid billet 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum and Mil-Spec Type III hard anodized to provide superior durability and toughness.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The cross slots are also machined the full width of the mount and gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specs.
The MDT Precision Picatinny Scope Mounting Rail is provided with standard 6-48 screws; however, base drilled to also accommodate #8x40 screws.
Installation Tip:
CTS recommends a dab of blue Loctite on each screw during the installation.
