The Spuhr Optic Leveling Kit is an inexpensive, easy-to-use tool for indexing the reticle to the Picatinny rail just below the turret cluster of the scope. The matching wedge is inserted from the side and as the ramped surfaces of the wedge and base engage, the top of the wedge rises upwards and contacts the turret cluster, automatically leveling the reticle to the mount.
Please note: This Optic Leveling Kit is designed to work with Picatinny Rails and flat surface directly below the turret cluster to function. It cannot be used with Weaver rails, SPUHR ISMS unimounts or SPUHR ISMS cantilever mounts. It requires minimum of 3 mm (0.118") clearance.
Use of the SPUHR Optic Leveler makes the assumption that the scope's turret cluster and reticle are aligned, which may not be the case with poor quality scopes.
