Product Description
Many see the Eberlestock G4M Operator as the ultimate scout/sniper pack. It
represents everything that Eberlestock has learned about the needs of the
professional military sniper community. It is a true go-to-war pack, derived
from the lessons learned from their Phantom
(G3M) and Gunslinger (G2M) products.
The newest version of the G4M comes with Eberlestock Intex-II frame system.
The Intex-II is an Eberlestock innovation; it out-performs both traditional
external frames and internal frames. It has the best qualities of both:
the structure of an external frame without the noise and with minimal weight,
and the close-ride and comfort of an internal frame pack. The Intex-II adds
a new level of support and stability to the Operator, making it a tough heavy-load capable pack.
It can be interchanged with more compact, softer frames (coming soon as a separate accessory),
or can simply be removed, which allows the pack to function as a softer bag.
The scale of the pack can be seen in the photograph on the right. It's a behind-the-torso pack,
and places the weight of your weapon right along your center-of-gravity.
When shooting from the pack, you have direct access to all of the pockets.
The side pockets peel back to expose PALS-type webbing that can be used to mount ammo or other items.
The Operator sniper pack has elements similar to other Eberlestock packs.
Its layout is much like the Phantom sniper pack, but it's bigger and has a two-chamber main compartment,
plus the outer front pockets. Like the Gunslinger sniper pack, the Operator's pack bag and Backscabbard™
are sewn integrally together.
Eberlestock has built the pack to satisfy the reality that a classic "drag bag" is
rarely likely to be used by a modern military scout or sniper. It has gained some benefits of simplicity
and weight savings by integrating the whole package into a single unit.
The Operator G4M sniper pack can carry weapons muzzle-up or muzzle-down.

The G4M Operator's backscabbard is permanently attached to the pack and
it locks into the bottom of the pack when not being used to carry longer weapons.
