THE Original Cobra Ghillie Suit Foundation is designed for Military and Law
Enforcement operators who require
visual camouflage concealment for their head and upper 2/3rd body.
From assaulters to snipers the ability to down-play the enemies visual on
you is extremely important. The Cobra Hood is new high-speed garment designed not
just for snipers but for any operator who can benefit from camouflage and concealment.
Specific to this type of operator is that this
garment is designed to be worn in conjunction and work in unison with combat loadout
equipment including LBV’s, Assault Vests and slim line backpack systems.
In addition, the hood is large enough to wear overtop of tactical helmets.
The operator can now achieve the camouflage/concealment effectiveness a sniper
has in a ghillie suit but scaled into a package that is practically suited toward
the working needs and style of an assaulter.
Superior results can be achieved when deployed for stalking and hi-crawls.
It can also be used for low-crawls.
Constructed from lightweight and rugged Supplex fabric with mesh ventilation lining
the side of the hood for audio and visual responses plus heat dissipation.
Tactical Concealment Original Cobra is currently deployed in various US and Canadian SOP Military units.
OC-2 comes with a sewn-on hood
and does not come with upgradable sleeves. In addition, the OC-2
uses a wide grid pattern for Nylon Cord throughout the entire outer shell.
This is used to accommodate the use of jute or foliage.
OC-4 in turn comes with an
adjustable hood and it's sleeve upgradable to accept additional accessories.
The OC-4 uses tight grid pattern for Nylon Cord used to accommodate garnish.
What is the difference between Wide-Grid and Tight-Grid Models?
WIDE-GRID Models utilize a “wide-grid” placement of nylon 550 cord.
The grid squares are placed far enough apart to effectively utilize natural foliage,
burlap and jute for garnishment. The wide grid is less labor intensive to produce than
the Tight-Grid models therefore yields a lower price point, but not at the expense of
TIGHT-GRID Models utilize a “tight-grid” placement of nylon 550 cord
with maximum 2.5" width.
The grid squares are placed closer together than the Wide-Grid models which allow for
denser camouflage coverage to more effectively utilize natural foliage, burlap and
jute garnishment. The tight grid is more labor intensive to produce than the Wide-Grid models
therefore yields a higher price point. The quality is unsurpassed!
