MDT's Light Sniper System XL (LSS-XL Gen2) Chassis is a lightweight modular weapon system that is easily adaptable to different missions and shooting styles. The ultimate combination of simplicity and precision, the LSS-XL Gen 2 is milled from a single billet of aluminum, and is hard anodized and Cerakote™ coated for a beautiful and durable matte finish.
The LSS-XL Gen2 has been updated with a bold, modern new look inspired by the popularity of the ESS chassis line, while maintaining and improving upon the overall aesthetic of an MDT chassis.
Like MDT revolutionary TAC 21 Chassis, the MDT LSS-XL Gen2 chassis takes full advantage of modern engineering, design, and manufacturing technologies, resulting in a level of precision that nears perfection.
MDT LSS-XL Gen2 V-block mounting system provides the most accurate mounting platform for Tikka T3/T3x actions. The LSS-XL Gen2 chassis is engineered to minimize warping and distortion. The rifle receiver only makes contact with the LSS-XL Gen2 chassis on the V shape bedding and recoil lug area ensuring the best accuracy and repeatability. The generous clearance on the fore-end provides free floating for barrels up to 1.350" in diameter.
The MDT LSS-XL Gen2 chassis supports AICS / AM style magazine in SA .223 and .308 caliber and LA in .300WM or .338LM (Requires MDT 3.56 Magazine), and supports installation of M-Lok attachment system on all 5 faces of the forend.
